Thanks for sharing Hugo! The goal I keep setting and falling short is to become the fittest I've ever been in my life - to be completely free in movement.

I think it's that my environment is not set up the right way and I don't have enough men around me to compete against. I need a healthy level of competitiveness among other men, that always got me fired up in the past. I've been trying to get there alone since I can't see most of my friends that often anymore as they all have families now.

Thanks for making me reflect on this. It made it clear what I need to do.

I understand and relate, there is power in competition. Finding a group of like minded people who are focused on physical fitness is invigorating and uplifting when you need to get motivated and stay focused.

I'm in two different accountability groups, one is all men and the other is a mix of 60/40 men/woman. I actually find the group of 60/40 mixed woman and men to be just as competitive as the group with all men. Sometimes even more competitive. But I agree, there is something great about being in a group of like minded men who are focused on personal development and supporting each other.
